About Deborah Reidy:

Image of Deborah Reidy.Deborah Reidy has extensive experience as both a consultant and a manager. Between 1979 and 1996, Ms Reidy founded and directed several businesses. She also served as Director of Training for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation, a $1.1 billion state agency. In that capacity, she developed a training department that served 10,000 state employees and an equal number of staff from nonprofit provider agencies.

Since 1996, Ms Reidy has worked in a consulting and coaching capacity full time. She has led hundreds of training events, planning sessions and retreats for people from all walks of life. She provides executive and leadership coaching to individuals and teams; she also combines coaching with other forms of team and leadership development. She has published several articles and book chapters and is writing a book on leadership.

Ms Reidy holds an undergraduate degree in sociology and a masters' degree in Adult Education and Development. She is a qualified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instrument. She recently completed an ICF-certified coaches training program and is in the process of attaining certification as a coach.

Ms. Reidy is a Council of Trustees member and on the Executive Committee of the Society for Organizational Learning. She is also a member of the Organization Development Network and the Women Business Owners Alliance of the Pioneer Valley. She is certified as a Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
